The central strip gives you one-click batch tools: Copy ➔ (Left to Right), ⬅ Copy (Right to Left), ⇄ Swap, standard Clipboard tools, and 🏷️ Tagging.

Bank Tools: Sort & Compact
Click 🛠️ TOOLS on any bank header to open the tools drawer: sort alphabetically, sort by category tag, or 🧹 Compact to eliminate empty slots.

Auto-Relink Scenes
When enabled in the top header, moving or sorting patches in Banks A–D automatically updates all Scene Part A and Part B patch pointers so performance scenes never break.

4-Tone Architecture
Every JD-08 patch is built from up to 4 discrete Tones (T1–T4). Each tone has its own Wave Generator, TVF Filter, TVA Amplifier, Multi-stage Envelopes, and dedicated LFOs.

Overview Dock Console
The bottom dock bar gives you immediate real-time feedback. Click T1–T4 to solo or mute tones, adjust level meters, edit patch names, and manage clipboard items. Press Shift+Tab to collapse or expand.

Deep Control Surface
Press Space, Enter, or Double-Click any slot to open the Deep Inspector: full visual faders for Cutoff, Resonance, Envelopes, EQ, Chorus, Delay, and Reverb.

Connect your Roland Boutique JD-08 with a standard USB cable and click Connect in the dock bar. Safe Web MIDI strictly connects to the JD-08 Sound Port.
